Haines Packing Company
Have you been to Haines? This is where everything comes from! Haines Packing Company is a fish processing plant built in the 1920s. It's the oldest continuously operating business in Haines and processes salmon, crab, halibut, and shrimp seasonally from March-November.
If you're in Haines, come visit! We have a seafood shop, fishy gift shop, and a boardwalk in front of the processing plant so you can see the day's catch being fillet and packed. Maybe you'll even see something exciting being unloaded on the dock! The best months to visit are July and August.
If you're not in Haines - don't worry. We deliver wild, sustainable Alaskan seafood right from this ocean fresh to our Whitehorse store weekly.
Do you remember that fish trailer set up next to the RCMP on 4th? That was us! We spent 4 years in the trailer; now we have a real store - open 7 days a week - because Whitehorse is awesome and we are so grateful.
Thanks for supporting wild, local seafood.
Come see what's in season today.
